(no subject)
it's official: i vote we are never hosting a house party ever again. i'm pretty sure my roommate will agree with me on this one. it's stupid that it's a week after the event, and we are still finding messes, broken stuff, and people's junk that has been left here. we need to fix our dryer, because someone broke it on halloween. it'll probably cost about 45 dollars for the part we need, and thankfully we aren't paying for labor due to chris and his dad fixing it for us, although hopefully they charge us something. my landlord also called me into the laundry room and asked me what happened under the stairs by the water heater. i really have no idea, but appearantly a bunch of shit got broken under there. thanks guys, i appreciate it.
and, my bed is finally (half assed) fixed from everyone sitting on it (and jumping on it) on thanksgiving. when chris's dad was here, he had a bunch of allan keys, so i fiddled with the screws and tightened it a bit, and then switched the bed around, so that the broken end is now being braced against the wall. hopefully this will hold out for a while, until i can afford to get myself an actual bed.
with iam being down, i am pretty much stranded here, because all of my friend's telephone numbers are archived on there. i want to go out and play, but cannot due to not having a way of contacting anyone. ohwell.. wednesday will come soon enough ! it's sad how addicted one can get to a website.
and now it's time for me to eat, and possibly watch some television (i'm getting my fair share of it in before we cancel cable, i've decided) and then shower and try to find someone to come on adventures with me.
