Cheese~ I like cheese, lots of cheeses. Really that's about it, no other reason for being there other than I like it.
Cooking~ Cooking gives me a chance to experiment with different things. I love to cook and have people over to cook for. Its always more enjoyable when there is someone else to share it with.
Hat making~ I got started in hat making when I started Civil War reenacting. I needed hats to go with my dresses and it was hard to find ones I liked that went with the dress they way I wanted.
Pendragon books~ This one is all Patrick's fault. He said I should read them and so I got started. And once I started it was hard to stop, almost. I'm though four of the six or seven that are out and there are still more being written.
Pirates~ This one is there because I am a pirate. Have been a pirate for at least ten years, and everyone used to look at me like I was crazy when I'd tell them such. Well, they still do, but not as much. I even have a flag, am looking for a ship and will wecome anyone who wants to join the crew.
Sewing~ When I was in Brownie Girl Scouts mom thought it would be good if I got my sewing merit patch, and as they say, the rest is history. Went to collage for costume design, have been working in theatrical costumes for the last four years. Sewing has become my lifestyle you could almost say and people are always asking me if I can make them something.
Wine~ It goes well with cheese, why else? I also like it well enough on its own or will dinner. Having grown up in wine country its been a part of my life always even when I didn't really pay it much attention. Though I must profess a fondness for the whites more than the reds.
