Description: A project focusing largely around multi-instrumentalist Clay Withrow (who previously recorded, produced, and published an album entirely on his own), Vangough takes the now pretty well run into the ground approach of late 80s and early 90s progressive metal bands and adds synthesizer work inspired by video games (the band has since released an album of video game music) that would not seem out of place with bands like Genesis or Styx. Lyrically, the band focuses largely on social commentary with a snide, satirical tone.
