I don't particularly like it, but then again, I think there are people who do things that deserve a punishment worse than sitting in a prison, paid for by taxpayers and living out their life with three meals a day.ImmigrationWhat is the deal with immigration? Since this nation's inception, the people who live here (who came here through immigration) have been terrified that others will come to this nation and take their jobs. It doesn't happen, it never really has. Immigrants come here and do work that Americans aren't - and never have been - willing to do, but need to be done, like picking fruits and vegetables, etc. Everybody chill out. Isn't immigration the whole point of the US? As long as its monitored, I think it's fine.WarI don't really dig war, of course, I don't think anyone does. I don't really find it necessary most of the time. But then again, there are times when I do believe it is a difficult but occasionally necessary choice. But it should never be taken lightly, or used for personal gain ... but then again, it will be. It always has, it always will be. A historian. A writer. A poet. A chef. President of the United States. An activist. A mom. What would be your ideal lifeI would be a successful writer and historian, teaching history students who were passionate about their academics. I would publish many groundbreaking books. James and I and our children would live in a big, beautiful house, perhaps one we built, on a beautiful piece of land in central PA near Gettysburg, where I have a gourmet kitchen. James is a successful lawyer and makes tons of money. We have four or five smart, happy kids, lots of pets. We would work until we decided to stop, vacation often, then retire to our summer house that was built on my grandfather's land in Cape Vincent and spend our golden years on Lake Ontario/The St. Lawrence. :-)
