1st day of classes torture
great... i really thought things will be just okay. But then again, i expected more than i had.
i didn't sleep. So, i was groggy during the flag ceremony. So, to keep me awake, i drank coffee. And as usual brought it with me during my first class.
It was a Tuesday, but we followed our Monday schedule so that we could meet up with our respective advisory class.
IV - Virtue.
My Advisory Class. Their class status? hmm.. i can't say, they might be the underdog class of the batch, but i don't mind anyway. So, as i went inside my homeroom class, i really thought the aura, "first day blues" or should i say, "i still have my Summer/May Sickness". But, for some reason it wasn't.
"EEEEEEEK~!" students screamed. particularly girl students.
I was really confused. I asked them what's up with their enthusiasm. They said that they just can't believe that I am their adviser for this school year.
*facepalm*
That didn't stop there. For some reason, it's the SAME reaction with my other classes. I only met with 4 out of 6 classes i am handling.
Yes, I am going to handle 6 classes that is composed with an average of 45.6 students per class.
I transferred to 4th year so that i can torture students with my methods of teaching in Trigonometry. I wasn't able to use my usual teaching habits last year since it was a different subject, or should i say my most hated math subject, geometry.
In any case, I showed compassion for them... for now. It was a rest day for my students since it was just the first day. I know how they feel since i myself is still lazy.
YES I AM A TEACHER... SLACKER/TEACHER.
