Conscious Elevator Rides
So here I am, in college. I live alone right now, it's really nice... my room smells good and it's quiet. I do a lot of work, probably not nearly as much as I should and I'm sure if I put myself together the way I should and focused I could get it done with flying colors. Well, I don't really know what to say, there's a lot of green and a lot of cold up here, take that as you will.
I just went to Thanksgiving where I feel like I once again dressed up in facades aplenty for my family. I don't feel like I can be who I am to them; my siblings all tried to be who they were and it's shown that they have been taken down a notch in the book of favorites when they do anything that steps out of societal bounds - and I'd really rather not be the new talk of the dinner table.
Well, I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving and a great fun-filled hallmark christmas is in store for all. Four weeks off is surely what I need.
