Because nothing is as good...
as you can imagine it.
Well, of course it's been a while since a last posted on this thing. Quite a bit has changed. For starters I've moved out of my dad's house to live in a pretty neat little duplex with my friend Trey. My liking of the place has come in waves. At one point I'll love living here out on my own and then at another I will become incredibly homesick and stressed out and just want to leave, but the dislike is slowly starting to fade into like as I become more acquainted with the place. I also received a job offer today and after little consideration snatched it up. I will be a housekeeper for the Mark Twain Hotel in downtown Peoria. I think I'll be able to tolerate the position for now. According to manager Ken it's a fairly easy job and I may even have the opportunity to work in the lobby instead of housekeeping. The one really cool thing about working in the hotel is that after being employed there for one year they will pay for all schooling expenses, which definitely opens some doors seeing as I am pretty much broke right now and couldn't even go back to school if I wanted to. So yeah, that's pretty cool. Yesterday, Skyler informed me that we have been officially dating for two months. I guess two months isn't that long but it doesn't even seem like it's been a short time since we started dating. But at the same time I feel like I've known him forever, it's weird. In a good way of course. I took a trip to Omaha a few weeks ago with Sheila, Trey, and Skyler. Lemme tell ya, the place is amazing. We went to see The Faint, but the actual concert as fantastic as it was ended up being kind of a bonus. Like, if we were just to go to Omaha to see Omaha I would have been happy with that. But the fact that we got to see The Faint play in their hometown was a great experience as well. With that, I leave you with some things that I have to look forward to
