when i was little, my grandma used to make us a little snack that consisted of cutting hotdogs in half, splitting the halves into four parts joined at an end. when fried in a pan..they would curl up. she'd calll them 'pulpitos' because they looked like octopus. i always liked eating that.
in other news. my dad told me how he married a puertorican lesbian in new jersey in the early 80s to get his papers. this was at the same time he and my mother together. i'm not sure how this worked, and i do not know what happened, but my dad never became a citizen and to this day has only reached resident on the verge of citizenship status.
