My third cousin just died. The first cousin of my grandmother. He was 70. My family and his were close because he was really close with my gradmother.
What makes this tragic is that he died of a series of strokes. He had the first one when he found out that his son David died in a highway crash on holiday with friends. John never recovered from David's death. David would have been forty by now.
He didn't look well the last time we saw him. But at least he's not hurting so much anymore.
