Dad: No, Surinamese are from Africa!
Me: YOU MORON, Suriname is in South-America! *to sister* And you! The culture is different, heck, there is damn ocean separating them!
Dad: She just can't get over the fact her dad is from Africa... <- old, old, old joke. Just to re-assure you: We are all Chinese. My dad has never been to Africa.
Sister: No, what I meant was that Indonesians are the same as Indians-
Me: Those are different countries!
Sister: They have the same culture!
Me: They don't-
Sister: I mean eating culture! They both eat roti and shit and all-
Me: They don't. Don't interrupt me, Indonesia was one of the subjects I had to study for my exam.
Sister: They just copy of each other. That's why.

Mom: Hmmm...they are closed on Mondays...
I wonder if my mom just a) ignored us or b) is just too used to us.
