Started out with
this cap, from my screencaps site
disparue.
the first few steps are exactly the same as in my previous tutorial.
1. Crop out the black borders, sharpen and resize to 500px with
2. Create curves layer. (to lighten up the cap)
3. Create vibrance layer. (to make colours more intense)
Vibrance: +100
Saturation: + 8
4. Create selective colouring layer. Whites: Black -46 (make whites whiter)
5. Create Levels layer (to boost up the contrast)
6. Add Light Texture, set to soft light (this will create some colours)
7. Create new layer, Paint two white blobs towards the center top of the cap (this will accentuate the light source coming from above)
8. Apply gaussian blur (+/- 6)
9. Create new layer, roughly paint the top part of the image with a large brush with a pink/purple colour (we're making the light more red and less orange)
10. Apply gaussian blur and set to soft light, lower opacity down to 70%
11. Create colour balance layer
12. Create Levels layer
13. Create Selective Colouring layer
14. Create new layer, pain with small round brush white (light source)
15. Gaussian blur, set to soft light
16. Create new layer, fill with dark brown, set to screen
17. Flattern, sharpen, resize & crop to your liking
VOILA!!

* This is meant to be a guide, please do not copy the steps exactly as I did them, that is pretty pointless and lame
