LOL @ the discussion about ghetto lattes over at baristas XD

I lul'd.

I used to work at a coffee shop my Mom owned, and a few people did this and I lol'd irl at them. I told them to enjoy their old milk.

What really irks me is when they have the audacity to ask you for fresh milk if there isn't enough out there. I'll usually be like SORRY WE'RE OUT LOL enjoy your lukewarm half and half. XD

OMG. ME TOO. Especially if I was the only one working, and if I ran out of milk I had to run down to the other side of the strip mall to the Albertson's to get it [which means closing the store], and I wasn't going to use my last gallon to supply their cheap ass-ness.

This means STFU AND USE HALF AND HALF BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT TIPPING ME ANYWAY.

Ugh I can't even GET tips and I make just barely above minimum wage. There's NO WAY I get paid enough to nicely put up with that bullshit.

im a barista too, and ive never seen anyone do that. honestly, these people should think before they do it, cause god knows...we change the milk only when it starts to smell LMFAO

Hahaha ikr?! XD We have a timer for all the milk and we're supposed to switch it out every 2 hours but usually we just turn the timer off when it goes off and leave the milk out there because we're too busy to change it, haha XD

That is so tacky. I can't drink coffee, so I was totally unaware of the ghetto latte's existence till now. XD I hope they at least tip you guys/tip you better since they're getting a cheaper drink.
