Some days im thankful that i don't have a girlfriend/spouse/SO, These are the days when too much piles up on me I usually just need to get away, and disappear for a while

YES- be lucky you dont have an SO - they are nothing but trouble and leave you with your heart ripped out.

Usually, yep. My theory though is that eventually you end up with a sane one... it takes some bloody head-butting though.

Mine puts up with me running away on occasion.

Having an SO is like running your computer with RAID 1.

And assuming your SO is similarly spec'ed, that redundancy is a good thing. Half the seeks, twice the reliability, and when you need to run off for a few hours, somebody is still there who can cover for you.
