(no subject)
So yah, im ok, im finding I have a seatbelt bruise on my collar bone, and some pretty wacky airbag abrasions, including a few on my nose. but my back, neck and all feel just fine.
my camera is fucked, although C tells me theres a shop in town that can fix that, and i even have the spare parts from the other camera, so i will see about that.
also since it was in traffic and had a fair chance of being stuck, they limited the amount of grabbing things i could do before the towing company working for the city came and got the car, i got everything super important or valuable, but i was unable to get the cd's from the changer since the battery was in a crumplezone and it kinda popped. also my tub of tools/emergency supplies, and a few other sundries. i will need to go check on it monday to see if i can get the changer or find a manual eject.
Tomorrow for freezer toss 2008
but barring being extremely sore tomorrow i should be able to get the dolly and some ratcheting tiedowns, (if anyone coming has 2 of those it would be awesome mine were in the above mentioned emergency box, although if notbody mentions having some i will pick some up in the morning.) and meet up with people tomorrow, the unit is shorter than i am, and i can rock it myself. so i don't think it will take an army to move, ive already removed the doors i need to remove the handles but i noticed i over estimated the distance it needs to move, its closer to 7 feet looks simple on paper.
Well atleast in 18 years of driving this is the first time i have caused a wreck. (not counting when i skidded off the road when i was 15 and rolled my truck in a field) hopefully i will get atleast 18 more before anything happens again.
well off to bed for me. perhaps when i awake i will find this year has just been a bad dream.
