Why people think cops are mean
Let me tell you a little story:
After coincidently running into Biff, I encountered a new problem... I was pulled over for being lost in a parking structure. I was trying to drop off one of the israeli exchange students at Jack in the Box in Bolsa Chica when I took a wrong turn and was pulled over. Needless to say this cop had nothing better to do than take my liscense and registration and look up my record while i had two foreigners in my car (israeli exchange girls). Finally the foreign exchange girls host family comes and saves me but not before this happened:
Cop walks over slowly with a flashlight which he uses to look at my legs and no other area of the car to look for what im not sure. He's one of those hard ass cops with a 70's handle bar mustache.
Cop: How old are you and how long have you had your liscense?
Me: Im 17 and I've had it for almost 2 years
Cop: You're in violation of the curfew law at 11
Me: It's not 11 its 10:15
Cop: Well at a 11 you'll be in violation
He takes my liscense and registration and walks over to check out the information and then returns
Cop: First off you were driving in a closed parking lot. Secondly you forgot to yield in a bus area.... DID I SAY SOMETHING FUNNY???? ( Do all cops steal lines from movies?)
Me: What? Im not laughing im just, im just sitting here.
Cop: You're doing what?
Me: Im trying to look you in the eyes?
Long Pause
Cop: Third of all I pulled you over after these violations!
(WHAT???!!! does he have powers to see into the future and know that i was going to violate the rules? OF COURSE YOU PULLED ME OVER AFTER THE FACT)
Me: Ok
Cop: If I ever see this car in MY CITY again you will get a ticket for every violation
Me: Thank You
Cop: Go straight home now!
I hope that cop goes home and feels proud that he intimidated a 17 year old girl trying to drop off an israeli foreign exchange student while spouting off lines from cop movies. Who actually says DID I SAY SOMETHING FUNNY? when you're pulled over and what the hell is the right answer to that?? Post your answers i'd like to see them.
