It's Ball Night!

I left work at 1.10pm this afternoon to assist in the transformation of my quiet, fairly quiet and conservative 16 year old into the belle of the ball. I got home at 6.15, very content in the knowledge that, as parents, we had done a good job.

Our princess was so happy with everything; the hair, the nails, the outfit, the makeup, the shoes, the jewellery.  I say princess cos at one point she said to me she felt as though she had 'princess hair'.

These photos are probably not dial-up friendly and there are about 14 of them; I make no apologies for being a snap happy proud mum tonight! 
(grr couldn't make the ljcut thing work, sorry)

Start by taking one teenager ...




Add some curlers ...



And some bling in the hair ..



Yep, this is starting to look good!


Now for the nails....

And we're done!


Oh yes, methinks we have a princess on our hands...


Or even a belle of the ball!



Now that the transformation is complete, it's time to find the chariot ...

Then it's all aboard ...

Must be a princess, she has the royal wave down pat. Off to the ball!
