Growing Up!
Oh my, it looks like my son has a job - and he only started applying for jobs Wednesday last week.
I'm so very proud of him, taking an unglamorous, what some would call 'lowly' job that is not in the field he wants to be in, the kind of job I never thought he would take. Be warned, those not yet enjoying/hating the parenthood ride - you think you know your kids and then they up and surprise you, hopefully, like this time, it's more often in wonderful ways :)
I don't know whether I'm so proud of him for selfish reasons, and right now I don't really care; I'm just going to enjoy the feeling that somewhere, somehow, without a roadmap his dad and I did something right.
