Good news on the Japanese lessons, I hope everything goes well with those. Are you on the Japanese for busy people text book?

Is Legend of the Seeker as ridiculously over the top as the vid made it seem? Because it looked kind of awesome in it's ott-ness.

Re: Japanese - Yes, the class uses Japanese for Busy People, although annoyingly the Hawaii class used the Romaji version and this class uses the Kana version. Luckily, I was able to borrow a copy of the latter from a sempai friend, as she finished the class last year.

Legend of the Seeker is definitely high cheese fantasy, but the fight scenes are gorgeous, and it's got a lot of slash and femslash. I've only watched some of Season Two, which doesn't have as much Darken Rahl in it, and of course the vids have left me wanting more.

I'm going to have to check that one out. I love cheese fantasy, and pretty cheese fantasy even more.
