Where to begin?
I recently returned from a short yet very fulfilling trip to western Massachusetts, specifically Amherst, Massachusetts. Me and AJ visited Christina and Erik and had an amazing time. Amazing weather, amazing scenery, amazing people. While there we managed to make our way through downtown Amherst, Smith and Amherst colleges, the Robert Frost trail, and a tour (given by Christina) of Emily Dickinson's house. We also managed to see a pretty cool Swedish vampire flick called Let the Right One In which put Twilight to shame. We had a great time and as I think AJ said in his post I hope you guys will visit Orlando one day so we can repay the favor!
Also, I'll be putting up pictures soon.
Since returning I've mostly been hanging around here in Weston which has been quite mundane. Since being home I have made a ginger bread house with my mom and sister, gone Christmas shopping, and slept excessively. Although on a brighter note, I did pass my GKTs. You may ask "Kristen, what on earth is a GKT?!" Well my friends, the GKT is the General Knowledge Test needed to get into the Education program. Sounds easy right? I mean it's general knowledge. Wrong. It consists of information that has been pushed so far back into the depths of your mind that you have to practically relearn everything. It's a freaking hassle. There was this lady in my testing group who had taken the the math portion 14 times. You would think she would have gotten a tutor or something. Anyways, I passed which means I can finally get going with my upper level courses. I know this is all so interesting.
I'm just SO anxious to finish school. The feeling I get when I think about graduating is so exhilarating. Once I have this degree my obligation is over. I can move anywhere. I can start my LIFE, get away. For Gods sake I hadn't even planned on going to college in the first place so I really just can't wait to finish.
Oh, what is everyone doing for New Years? I bought this bangin' dress but have nowhere to wear it to, haha.
