The Red Hot Chilli Peppers hit Californication has been voted the best
album of the last 10 years.

Oasis smash (What's the Story) Morning Glory (1995) came second in the
poll.

Californication was released five years ago and has gone on to sell
more than 15 million copies for the American rock band, who first emerged
in 1983.

Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) takes third place, in front of
the album Irish legends U2 released in the same year, All that You
Can't Leave Behind.

Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002) and Radiohead's OK
Computer (1997) take joint fifth and sixth place. Coldplay's debut Parachutes
(2000), is seventh in the FHM poll, followed by the Prodigy's the Fat
of the Land (1997).

The oldest album in the top 10 - Blur's Parklife (1994) - came ninth,
followed by The Verve's Urban Hymns (1997). U2 were also voted the best
band of the past decade in the survey by FHM magazine, followed by the
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Oasis and Coldplay.
