Well...
This weekend has been way fun.
Friday night, I went to Talking Stick casino w/ Derek, Leon, and Steven. I did pretty good. At one point I was about $60 up from the $60 I played with....not too bad to double what I started with. But...the cards weren't coming out towards the end and I came home only $16 up. still not bad, at least I didn't lose what I started with :)
We were playing at Carmens Bistro before we went to Talking Stick, I took 5th place. I am placing like a mofo these days. I am about 40th place out of over 1000 people who play in the All In Trournaments. Its awesome. :)
Saturday night, we played poker at the Derby. I got 10th. I was blinded out. I hate when that happens. I actually caught 2 pair, but the person who beat me had a higher 2 pair. suck. oh well.
Derek, Leon, Russ and I stayed at the bar for awhile til it closed. Then we went to Salados (?) or something like that for food. They didn't have soap or toilet paper, kids were peein' in their supply closet and they didn't even care. It was sick. I refused to eat what I ordered after I saw that they didn't do a damn thing about the kids that peed in the supply closet. There were 18 year old kids everywhere. This one kid came up to Leon and asked for a cigarette. So he gave him one. About 10 minutes later the cops pulled up and ended up arresting about 4 kids. The kid that asked leon for the cigarette got hand cuffed for telling the cop he was 21...idiot was only 16. Way to add 5 years to your age when you aren't even fucking legal to smoke in the first place dumb ass. They made him call his mom and it was hilarious, she was soooo pissed. There was this other girl that was so wasted she had to hold onto the female cop for support. Man...I wish I had been that stupid when I was 16. NOT.
Tonight poker at Shenenigans. Its my last night of poker until I get back from my Boston/Charolette trip. I leave Tuesday at 11pm and I get to Charolette at 5:45am. earliestttttttttt hour ever!!
I am excited. I am glad I get to be out of the AZ for a week.
