Then you really should check out High Tension.
http://www.hightensionmovie.com/ {Marie and Alexia are schoolmates and best friends. Hoping to prepare for their college exams in peace and quiet, they decide to spend a weekend in the country at Alexia's parents' secluded farmhouse. But, in the dead of night, a stranger knocks on the front door. And with the first swing of his knife, the girls' idyllic weekend turns into an endless night of terror...} curious yet?
Mark brought it over tonight and...let's just say there is an extremely valid reason for it being unrated and foreign. Several reasons to be exact. I don't want to say too much, so I won't say anything at all. Do yourself a favor and rent it. Better yet, buy it :-D
I was severly disturbed for 95% of the movie. That's saying a lot. To get me, the viewer, to really experience fear, trauma, discomfort and shock, it has to be good. I locked all of my doors (and checked them twice) and am getting ready to watch a comedy to make the scaries go away. If you can't stomach gore or violence, you may want to pass this title and head straight for the kiddie section. If you did already view it, I'd like to hear your reaction. Enough of that, or i'll start spilling the beans.
I had a pretty decent day today. I lost 9.6lbs at Weight Watchers, so that's an 80lb. loss :) (Yippee!) I treated myself with pizza (not yippee)
I got a package from Tommy today (yay) he burned the 1st Lost season for me and a few others, including Shaun of the Dead (shame I haven't seen it yet)
I had a very delicious and satisfying Starbucks Venti Light Mint Mocha Chip Frappuccino and shared some really good conversation with Ginny. It's funny how you sometimes lose touch with some of the most interesting people. But, as I said before, I am bad at friendship, so that explains it :(
I am making an effort to change my friendship disability and actually follow through with things, without getting side tracked.
I also ventured out, too many times to count, to Target to buy some curtains for my livingroom. Since my couch is red, my chaise is sage and my gigantamungous chair is yellow, I only had a few choices without totally looking like Crayola barfed all over the place. I stuck with red eventually and had to rearrange my entire livingroom just to make it work. It did. And I was happy. I think...lol
Since you stuck with me through this horribly lame, boring and darnright time wasting entry, I think you deserve a little entertainment.
Enjoy.
