pinch me please (not there, pervo)
So, I am uncommonly chipper. I am wondering when all the good things will crumble into a big pile of stinky poop, like the scene in Labyrinth where Sarah found her home sweet home in the middle of the trash heap only to see everything was junk disguised as goodies (if you know this scene you are on my "coolest of cool" list)
Now, all good happy times need explaining...
1) I moved this weekend. Finally settled into my new place. I forgot what it was like to live in a space larger than a tuna can. I am no longer a ghetto dweller. YAY! Instead, I found a lovely land where a dorky white girl like me was not the minority, but a welcomed addition to the community. (not to mention the abundance of yummy guy eye candy wandering around aimlessly and girlfriendless)
2) My surround sound is Fantabulous! I am the biggest geek when it comes to technology. My movies just aren't the same now :) joy-joy-joy-joy. It is sad that I get so much happiness from this.
3) I got offered and accepted the promotion to Consumer Lending. More money, more vacation, all bank holidays observed and no more managing anyone other than myself. As much as I would rather be doing something creative and inspiring for a living..this is still a very good thing.
4) Dorkus Among Us! I finally hooked my PC up. Yippee! Now I can once again dork it up online. (I feel somewhat isolated though, my spare room is my computer room which means no movie watching, while listening to music, while online NADD stuff going on)
