Feels like it lately, anyway! The deadline for Escapade vid show submissions is this Sunday, February 3rd, at midnight PST. We've got a great show coming together, but there's room for more. Festivids welcome, and if you want to submit them before reveals, I will keep them secret.
I want so much to sign up for the Equinox exchange this round, because the theme is the 90s. But I have my own Escapade premiere to finish, and
destina bought me in the Vidukon auction (*Kermit hands!!*), so I have prior commitments. Going to be keeping an eye on treat possibilities, though.
In the meantime, have some wholehearted Festivids recs!

LOLLLLL. I love this stupid(smart) show so much. And I think this vid will make you laugh even if you have no idea what's going on. Brilliant. The perfect storm of dadaism encompassed by the song+Archer is amazing. (The slap fights. On the drum solo. :D :D)

ride_4ever) I love this so much that I'm wondering if one of my favorite vidders made it-if it turns out this was made by someone I don't already know, I'll be haunting them henceforth. (What I especially love is the attention to facial expressions, gestures, and expressive vocalizations in the song.)

I haven't seen any recs for this one yet, probably because it's a small fandom, but it's beautiful, and completely accessible even if you don't know the fandom. Warnings for some tough material, though, including child death. But, gorgeousness.

This was the first one of the collection I watched, because I adore DLM, and it did not disappoint in any way. Beauty.
