Summary: Kaoru works as a coop and in order to escape from the summerheat he visits the local fountain where he accidentally pushes a certain short, blond man into the water. Not able to forget him a crazy plan forms in Kaorus head, but not everything goes as planned...
Comments: So who found the gun? Will Kaoru be able to save the situation? And things get even more complicated when yet another person enters the scene…
Toshiya was standing outside the building holding the fake gun while looking at Die with an extremely ‘wtf’ look on his face.
“Oh shit…” Die immediately recognized Toshiya who was non other than a colleague from the neighbor police district. The two of them had been out drinking together several times. He knew he was screwed, there was no way he could talk himself out of this.
“This isn’t happening” Kaoru couldn’t believe what he was hearing, his whole plan would be ruined! He grabbed Kyo and dragged him to his feat. “Come with me, I really need to talk to you.” Kyo gave him a blank stare but didn’t fight back when Kaoru dragged him along.
“I know this will sound completely crazy, but after I met you at the fountain I just couldn’t stop thinking about you. I know I don’t know you, but I do feel there is something special about you. I couldn’t stand the thought of that I might never see you again so I trigged this whole thing as an excuse. Please don’t hate me, I did this because I care about you!” Kaoru tried to put his hand on Kyos shoulder but the other man shook free.
“Sorry, but I think you are crazy. I thought I would die! Do you think I enjoyed that? What kind of sick way is that to show someone you care? You barely know who I am and still you say you care about me? That’s just the most stupid- *I just wish someone would actually love me for who I am and not because of some shit I‘ve written. *” Kyo stopped himself and fell quiet.. He knew he had said that but that was under completely different circumstances. Kyo turned his back to the other man. “I… I can’t do this Kaoru. I’m leaving now, and I don’t ever want to see you again, and this time I really mean it.” There was just too much emotions fighting inside of him and Kyo took of running, hoping that maybe he could outrun it all if he did.
Hopelessness was all Kaoru could feel as he saw the other man run away from him.

”Ok, let me see if I got this right… You were supposed to play some maniac trying to hijack Kyos car just so Kaoru could come and show of his badass skills, saving the ’princess’ and everything would be all sparkly hearts and shit? That MUST be the funniest thing a have ever heard, just too bad I didn’t bring my video camera!” Toshiya seemed he was dying from laughter and Die had never felt more humiliated. Since Kaoru had just rushed of Die had no other choice than being locked to the lamppost.
”Well it wasn’t exactly supposed to end like this…”
”Really? I thought you liked tall, skinny things…”
”Hey! Who the hell told you about me and Shinya?”
”Uhm, actually I was referring to the lamppost Die. But hey congratulations!” Toshiyas smirk was even wider and Die just wished he could sink through the ground.
”But I never knew you had a roommate. If I had known I certainly wouldn’t had agreed to do this.” Die tried his best to change the focus from himself.
”Well Kyo and I have been living together even though we-” Toshiya was quickly interrupted when Die burst out:
”Kaoru! Where the fuck did you go, did you plan on just leaving me here?” Dies anger was quickly changed into worry though when he saw how upset the other man looked. ”Hey, are you alright? Where’s Kyo?”
”It’s over, he’s gone Die. He ran away from me, he must think I’m a monster…” Die had never seen Kaoru so upset and wasn’t sure what to say.
Kaoru unlocked Dies handcuffs and was just about to leave when a hand grabbed his shoulder.
”Please don’t give up on him, I know Kyo doesn’t show how he feels, but I think he truly likes you. He want someone who can love him just for who he is, and I think you can do just that Kaoru. But if you ever hurt him again I won’t ever forgive you.” Kaoru was very surprised to hear this from Toshiya of all people.
”Why are you telling me this? Shouldn’t you hate me for hurting your friend or something?”
”I think you could be what Kyo needs, I just want to see him happy. Please try to talk to him again.” Kaoru couldn’t possibly say no to Toshiyas pleading look and promised he would try to talk to Kyo once everything had calmed down.

When Kyo finally returned to the apartment building the day had turned into night. The sky was clear and a shiny bright moon was hovering in the sky making him feel a little less lonely.
”Dammit I know I should hate him, I mean what he did was completely insane. But when I try to hate, it hurts even more. But I just don’t know if I can forgive him after this…” Kyo was just about to enter the building when he felt a hand gabbing him from behind and another hand quickly covered his mouth before he had a chance to make any noise. There was something wet and acrid smelling pressing against his nose, ”Hush… Seems like the spider has finally found himself a little butterfly” was the last thing Kyo heard before everything faded to black.

”Yesterday was the most embarrassing day of my life, I was locked to this damn lamppost you know?” Shinya was at Dies place and the two of them lay in bed while Die was recalling the previous days adventure.
”Maybe this will make you feel better…” Shinya put his lips against Dies neck, trailing it with soft kisses while his hand found it’s way down to the lower regions. Die let out a gasp at being touched but continued to tell his story.
”So I was being totally.. Ah! badass and everything. And then Kaoru… uh… showed up and everything was going so well.. Ah Shinya!”
”Die could you please be quiet, I’m trying to give you an orgasm here…” As much as he liked to hear Die talk, there were still sometimes when he wished the other man could just shut up for a moment.
”Everything was going perfect until this Toshiya guy showed up blowing my cover… Hey! Don’t stop!” Shinya was frozen and had a very confused look on his face.
”I used to work at the same station as this Toshiya, did you know he used to have a boyfriend named Kyo? I just never expected it to be our Kyo. If I had known I could have said something… he told me they brook up a couple of years ago so I never suspected they would still live together.
So that was why he was so protective of Kyo, Die thought to himself. What would Kaoru think if he found out?
There wasn’t much time for afterthoughts as a very upset and quite hysterical Kaoru was bursting through the door.
”Die! Some maniac has kidnapped Kyo and- what the hell are you and Shinya doing in the same bed?- anyway, Toshiya has been taken of the case since he’s like family, so I asked if we could take over the case, and the chief agreed so it’s up to us now. But what if he’s hurt or something, or even worse…”
”Ok, Kaoru, breathe! Who has kidnapped Kyo? Tell us everything nice and slowly, and maybe you could excuse us for a moment so we don’t have to sit here naked?” Kaoru seemed so upset that he didn’t ask any further questions about the nudity and leaved the room.
A few minutes later all of them sat together in the living room.
”Take it from the beginning Kaoru.”
”Kyo never came home that night so Toshiya got really worried, and then the next day there was a letter outside his door, saying Kyo had been kidnapped. And if the kidnapper don’t get what he wants, Kyo will be in serious trouble…”
”So what is it that the kidnapper wants?” Die asked.
”You probably think I’m kidding, but he wants eyeballs, hundreds of them. He must be a complete psycho… We’re supposed to call this number in two days and decide a place for the switch. ”
”Eyeballs… Oh my God, I know who the kidnapper is! It’s- ”
”Közi! You fucking psychopath! What have you done to me?” Kyo had woken up not long ago and found himself tied to a chair. He had no idea were he was and the room was rather dark, the only provider of light was a small window close to the ceiling, that probably meant he was in a basement. And when Közi of all people had entered the room Kyo didn’t know if everything was just a bad joke. Everybody in the neighborhood knew Közi as the slightly crazy man who always asked people for eyeballs. But now it was clear that he wasn’t just a little crazy…
”No need to be upset, my little friend. As long as your friends cooperate with me you won’t come to harm, I promise you. ”
”For one thing, don’t ever call me little! And what is it you want? A castle in Transylvania together with your scary crossdressing friends, Mana and co?”
”I want eyeballs, beautiful round little eyeballs…”
”Should have figured since it’s you.” but Kyo still couldn’t help shivering in his seat, this situation was anything else but pleasant. ”And what will you do if they don’t cooperate?”
”Then I will take your pretty eyes instead” Közi reached out his hand and lightly stroke the side of Kyos face.
”Hey! Don’t you dare touch me! Do it again and I swear one day I’ll fuck your parents, or something… ” Kyo was furious and squirmed like a worm on his chair, something that the other man found terribly amusing.
”Aww isn’t that adorable!”
”Dammit, I’m not cute! Do you know what they call me? The little monster.”
”What, you bite people or something?”
”Yeah.”
”….”
”You know people will come for me right? I swear, Kaoru- I mean the police will save me so you can kiss your eyeballs goodbye.”
”Well if the police tries anything I got a little surprise…” Közi reached inside a drawer and pulled out something that made Kyos guts turn.
”A gun…” the memories of having that thing pressed to his skull returned and he had to use all self-control to remain seemingly untouched.
”They will cooperate if I have you as my hostage, and if I threaten to kill you they definitely will. Your little friend Toshiya is probably devastated right now so it shouldn’t take long-” Közi was interrupted when his cell phone started to ring. ”Hello?… Oh, hi Yu˜ Ki… No I don’t know how to get rid of winestains… Haven’t I told Mana not to wear that white dress when there’s wine involved?… Yeah yeah alright I’m coming over… Bye.
Seems I need to go out for a little while. You better not try anything while I’m gone.”
Közi left just as sudden as he had shown up and Kyo was once again alone with his thoughts, which were a complete mess. And no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t help but wish that Kaoru could be there with him.

comments: Including Közi in this story was a result of me staying up far too late writing, and drinking too much coffein. I just had to include that eyeball-fetish, because it's so crazy xD when i first heard about it I was like 0_o and now I could actually use it!
