Summary: Kyo and Shinya are princes in a small country and are about to get married in order to unite the country under one kingdom. It all seems fine except for the fact that none of them are really true to their hearts and the same goes for their friends. And when they decide to enter an enchanted forest every ones hearts will show their true colors.

The sky was already starting to darken when Kyo finally stopped running. He had no idea about his location and
decided not even to care. All he needed was to rest. Being thirsty as hell didn’t exactly help. But it was as if the gods had listened his complain, he thought he had heard the sound of running water and when he brushed some vegetation aside he was greeted with a beautiful sight. A waterfall spurted out of a cliff, creating a small rainbow over the water beneath. There was just one flaw in the picture, Kyo was not alone. Kaoru was kneeling next to the water, obviously he was just as thirsty .
Screw the water, if drinking meant he had to bump into Kaoru he’d rather die from thirst. He had just started to back away when he felt his left foot bump into an unexpected tree root, making him loose his balance, falling backwards into a pretty little puddle of mud.
Kaoru abruptly stopped drinking as he heard the noise. Was it an animal, or god forbid, a demon? Grabbing a nearby fallen branch, he slowly moved towards the source of the sound, only to be greeted by one of the most startling, amusing sights he had ever seen. Kyo was half lying on the ground, mud all over his body, his facial features a mix of utter embarrassment and anger. He looked so damn pitiful that Kaoru couldn’t stop himself from laughing, he tried to hold himself together but that only made his body shake even harder with constraint.
“I-I’m so sorry Kyo…but… I was so worried about you …. I was afraid I would never see you again… and now you’re just laying here. Sorry, you just look so-ah!” Kaoru yelped in surprise as Kyo got up and abruptly pushed the other man, causing him the same fate as Kyo as Kaorus ass smashed into the mud.
“Fuck you Kaoru. And did I really scare you so much that you shit yourself?” Kyo pointed at the others mud covered butt. And then he started lo laugh hysterically , god all of this was so incredibly stupid anyway. Kaoru just stood there with crossed arms and a stoic expression.
“I can’t believe you have such an immature sense of humor, I seriously think you’re still a five year old, you sure have the same size as one, you shithead. “ Kyo stopped laughing and bored his gaze into the others.
“That was just low…”
“Maybe, but not as low as you!” A new laugh attack hit Kaoru and he had to duck as something was thrown at him. “Hey don’t you throw acorns at me, what if it had hit my eye?”
“Ohh I’m so sorry, prissy-boy…”
“What was that? Sorry I’m not a little emo who throws tantrums over everything and everybody.”
“Well can you blame me? I’m surrounded by complete assholes.”
“All these assholes have been working night and day to give you the best wedding you can get, have you thought of that, and I wasn’t even invited!”
“I already told you, I thought you would be out of town, and besides you said you wanted to sing at the wedding, no way in hell that would’ve happened, your singing sounds like agitated screams of maggots or something.”
“That doesn’t even make sense Kyo, and have you ever thought that if you treated people a little nicer maybe someone would actually want to be with you, if you go on like this not even Shinya would want you!” The two men had been steadily moving towards the lake as they were throwing assaults at each other, and as Kaoru threw the last one he pushed Kyo into the water. The little man got more or less drenched, but to Kaorus shock the wetness on his face wasn’t water, it was tears. In all the years he had known the other man he hadn’t seen him cry not even once.
“I know, don’t you think I fucking know Shinya don’t want me?! I, I saw him with Die before, they were… god…. No body wants me, not even you…” Kaoru felt a sting of guilt in his heart, he knew his two friends had feelings for another but seeing as Shinya was destined to marry Kyo he had never had the heart to tell the shorter man. He could’ve used it to his advantage that one time, the night when he and Kyo had been out drinking together and Kyo had blurted out that he loved Kaoru. It had taken him all of his self-control not to just give in and say how much he loved Kyo as well. But stupid as he was he had told the blond that he had no such feelings for him and that he shouldn’t say that nonsense when he was about to marry another man. He had been so sure Kyo was just drunk. After that night some sort of tension had lingered between the two, and it was only now that he started to understand the reason behind it. He waded out to Kyo, sitting down in front of the other as he slowly reached out and hugged the other, holding him close to his chest. He thought the blond would protest, beat him up even, but instead it was as if something had clicked inside of the other as Kaoru felt his body starting to tremble, and soft sobs could be heard. He had never seen this side of Kyo before and he wasn’t sure how to act, so he just rubbed the others back reassuringly, willing to do anything to make the other feel better.
“I love you.” The sobbing stopped for a second.
“You’re lying, don’t you dare try to fucking win me over...” And then the sobbing returned even more violently.
“And yet you let me hold you… Kyo, look at me.” He grabbed the blonds chin and tilted his head up, but Kyo just averted his gaze, so Kaoru did the only thing he could think of, he brought the others face even closer and in an instant he softly molded his lips over the others. God how he had longed to do this. He kept his lips pressed against Kyos a little longer, but as he ( to his big disappointment) didn’t feel a response from the blond he was just about to retreat when Kyos hands grabbed his shoulders and without warning pushed him on his back. Kaoru had no time to adjust as Kyos lips aggressively attacked his own. Kaoru felt like he was torn in two. Torn between the love for this man, who he wanted more than anything, and torn between the loyalty and love of his best friend. By doing this he knew he was betraying Shinya, but by what he had just heard Kyo say, it seemed Shinya had already beaten him to it with Die.
As Kyos kissing grew more insistent he knew that reasoning was just meaningless. He couldn’t hold back any longer. His arms reached up around Kyo and after some pushing and pulling he had the blond pinned beneath him, the smaller man clawing at his shirt. Kaoru claimed the blonds mouth once again, dragging his tongue along his bottom lip until he felt the other parting his lip, willingly granting permission. The way the other brushed his tongue against his own was just as intoxicating as the way their crotches rubbed against each other, creating delicate friction. Kyos hands was under his shirt, caressing his firm chest. Kaoru bit down on the others neck, eliciting a cry of pain and lust from the other man. It would surely leave a mark, but it didn’t matter, after this Kaoru would never be able to let Kyo go. He continued to attack the others neck with kisses, traveling down to a collarbone. One of his hands placed itself over the blonds now obvious erection as he added some pressure the other moaned softly and writhered beneath him. Kaoru wasn’t the only one with wandering hands though as he felt the younger’s hand dip under his waistband and-
“Well I’ll be damned, and here I thought Reita said that love poison trick was getting old.”
Both men in the water jumped in surprise as they heard a voice behind them, a voice that clearly didn’t belong to any of their friends….
AN ~ This chapter wasn’t as long as the others but I felt I really needed to start posting this again.
I’m really sorry it took so long time to get back on this fic but a lot of things have been happening in my life since and I’ve just have had no time for writing fics sadly =/ But hopefully that will improve some now.
I wanted to write smut but my muses wasn’t up to it >_> hopefully I can bribe them…
