First of all... Black Veil Brides and Get Scared are my current addictions. They're simply amazing. Seeing them in concert and meeting them pretty much made my life WAYYYYYY better than it was before. Vampires Everywhere! and Modern Day Escape were awesome as well, but I didn't get to meet them. =( Megan and I did the meet and greet with BVB, then we met Nicholas from Get Scared outside before we left. All I can say is wow, they're all really sweet people. I got touched by Ashley Purdy (on the arm, ha ha... anything more might've killed me) and hugged by Andy and Nicholas. I also got Sandra to pose for a picture looking like her adorable self. And Jake and Jinx... they're just beautiful and amazing. *dies* Possibly the most intense concert of my life, but it was worth every second. The drive there and back... Well... Those were interesting. The drive there was a good story to tell to Andy and Nicholas, ha ha. They were actually surprised that we'd traveled so far to get there and see them. Well, why wouldn't we? They're brilliant! So yeah, I've been recovering from that night for quite a while now. The concert was the 23rd, and I still feel a few after-effects. It was worth all of the physical effects though.
Anyway, I've been on the hunt for employment. Got two interviews, one which I had earlier today via telephone. The other one is tomorrow afternoon, in-person. I always get nervous but really try to just be genuine. So hopefully that works out for me, ha ha.
One final thing, and kind of a rant (though it will be overshadowed by that initial paragraph up there): If you give your word to participate in something, don't be half-assed, and don't back out without warning. It's a childish thing to do, and you will lose any credibility you're trying to acquire for yourself. In a group setting, the group is only as strong as its weakest link, and I will not stand for any weak links. In the business my group is in, you have to fight and claw your way to the top while retaining professionalism and uniqueness of character. My group has the latter, and the committed members strive toward the former. Someone who has neither has no place with us. Careful screening is being heightened. (I don't think that last sentence made sense, but I'm trying to not think in Japanese right now...)
Back to me salivating over my pictures from the concert. <3 I'll have to get them onto Photobucket and put up a link here at some point. I'm really shocked that the pictures turned out so well. Much clearer than the ones from the H.I.M. concert, but I think the smaller size of the venue and better lighting made a huge difference.
And anyone who reads this... Go download some BVB and Get Scared if you haven't already. I promise, they're astoundingly talented! =)
