CONGRATULATIONS,
yamikakyuu!!!
From our interactions online, I can safely say that you're one of the sweetest, kindest, most vivacious people I've ever met, and I just KNOW that motherhood will suit you and that you'll suit your baby, because all of the laughter, concern, and advice you've given me over the years are not something to be ignored, nor ever forgotten. I congratulate you wholeheartedly on your blessing, and want you to know that whatever surprises motherhood might have in store for you, that I'll always be here, on LJ, waiting anxiously to read about them.
CONGRATS!!!!!!! (Now where are my pics?!)
In terms of ME, I'm relieved to say that with the coming of my freshman year of college in the fall, that I will a.) possibly have MORE free time than I do now, which sounds absurd I know but I think it might actually be the truth O.o; and b.) I will DEFINITELY have actual Internet access as well, even if it's just moching from the college library during/in between classes, so what I'm trying to say is that I am busily planning my TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO THE INTERWEBZ THIS FALL, hurr durr pretend that you guys actually care.
In the meantime, I've been playing video games. -__- Dammit, why does hardly anyone on my f-list like console games...*grumble*... Desperately trying to save my money for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, even though that Terra guy's pants make me rage beyond all comprehensible belief (Google it, Rune; as a fashionista extraordinaire, it'll make your eyes bleed). But I'm really curious to see if Tetsuya Nomira can pull off a DECENT female character for a change, instead of the faint-hearted identity-crisis girls he's kind of become (in)famous for. *shrug* Of course, the ladies of Final Fantasy XIII were pretty awesome, funky New Zealander accents notwithstanding (I really want to hear the game with Japanese audio...).
Speaking of Japanese audio, I watched the first twelve episodes of Durarara!!! the other day. Shouldve seen it coming that Fukuyama Jun would be the one to voice Shinra. @.@;; It sounds terrible to say so, given his fantastic vocal work, but it's recently occurred to me that FukuJun doesn't have much range. I'd almost say that except for slight variations in volume and pitch, his Shinra is almost indistinguishable from his Vincent Nightray.
Feh. I probably just haven't been watching enough anime lately. WHICH REMINDS ME, does anyone know anything new about that crazy cracked-out Edo era Code Geass that Sunrise is planning on making? The one that had the guy with the bionic arm (I think?). I kind of feel like my heart/brain has recovered enough from the second season of the original Code Geass to give a spinoff series a whirl. XD
Ugh, this update turned out longer than I expected. GLIMPSE OF WHAT IS TO COME, lol? It's not too late to unadd me from your friend's lists, guys. :P
