OOC | Plot, of a sort
So. Killua.
I've been playing around with him for a day or two, as I'm sure some of you have noticed. But since one of the recent drops will no doubt cause him to act out even worse, I thought it'd be best to clarify just what the brat is attempting to do.
He hasn't gone insane just yet, honest.
During Killua and Gon's most recent argument, Killua got it into his head that he's not the "right" Killua because he's from a different point in their timeline, a point after a huge change he goes through. Frustration over people leaving and being cooped up with his roommates, plus Gon's resentment for his unexplained change had been eating him up bit by bit until he messed up his hands at the end of the Dorm Event. Once he finally exploded, he couldn't go back to pretending there was nothing wrong, and he started taking it out on other people.
What he's looking to do is taunt people into fighting him in hopes that one of them will eventually kill him. He knows that when people return they pay a price, and he's hoping that the price he'll pay will be all the memories that make him different from the Killua Gon is used to. He plans to keep following this cycle, (dying, coming back with something lost, dying again, etc.) until he loses what he's trying to lose. If he doesn't lose what he's hoping to, he figures you can only die so many times before you lose everything; and if he disappears there's a chance he'll be replaced with himself from an earlier timeline. It's very canon for him to put himself into harm's way for Gon's sake, and he'll see this as no different than every other time he's done the same.
If someone gets him to admit his motives, he'll explain them calmly. He's thought the whole thing through and most of the taunting and seemingly impulsive behavior is an act. I haven't asked the mods for permission for a death because I haven't planned on one. If you want one of your characters to fight him, I'm all for it, but I'd actually prefer he not get his wishes fulfilled.
This could be a chance for some decent CR for him though, seeing as most of his friends have disappeared on him. If you do want a chance to have at 'im, please don't hesitate. He needs it.
