"it's by Pedro"...the wonderful world of IHOP!!!
dude saturday night was soooooo awesome. when we got to san diego we decided to go and grab a bite to eat, but first Jaz, Oliver and i went to go see how long the line was. Well, it wasn't too long and we heard a guy singing so we assumed it was Dustin. hah wrong we were. right when we entered i noticed a bright blue shirt and who was wearing it you ask? Dustin!!! i couldn't believe it. we ended sitting two tables away and i took a pic of the back of his head with my phone. and jaz and i went to the bath room cause it was right by him so we would have to pass him. right when we got in we were jumping up and down screaming. it was funny. we wanted to ask for a pic when he was about to leave and we got up to go ask but i got really nervous and jasmine looked like she was hding or doing some mission impossible kinda thing, anyway we were kinda loud and dustin saw us so i grabbed her hat and ran back to our table hoping he'd think i was trying to get "my" hat back. haha it was funny. then when we got inot the venue, dude it was small, dustin and edd are like walking around. it was awesome. but luckil;y we were in the front as usual and dustin played a kick ass show. and the colour's lead singer looked so much like jim morrison but with blonde hair. amazing. oh so anyways back to dustin, so he started off with "Radio, Radio," by Elvis Costello. Then he sang some Pedro the lion, The bEatles and someone else but i dont know how to spell her name. and he playe "Round here" by the Countiong Crows, i was so happy cause i love that cover. and Oliver said he cried when he played "madman" it was so beautiful, i do like it better slower than fast, during the song i did notice dustin kinda laughed but i thought it was cause he hadn't played it for four years and he messes up a word or something. but he was actually crying. awww...and the last song was " Creep" by Radiohead, he sang it so beautifully, and there's this one part were he held the note for a really long time and everyone clapped and cheered, then on the last verse he stepped away from the Mic and everyone in the crowd sang the last verse "but i'm a creep, I'm a weirdo, what the hell am i doing here?, i dont belong here, i dont belong here..."it was the best. so awesome. i was a little dissappointed cause he didn't play "secret of the easy yoke" but whatevs. after wards some he reached out his hand and was thanking everyone for coming out and he shook my hand and i was in "awe" i've shook his hand before and even huggewd him but each time feels like the first!then some ghuy started takling to him about books, the burn collector probably by C.S. Lewis, awesome writer, and we asked for a pic but we took two and i felt as though i closed my eyes in both of them. and all i could remeber was EVERYONE staring at us and Dustin's arm around me and my hand on his back, i felt to soothed and comfortble, and calm, i Even forgot about the 3 hour drive back home we had to take for a split second, but it was all worth it! i love you dustin! i love you THRICE...
