"Goodbye Norma Jean..."
So I got thrown out of Walmart this morning.
I went in to purchase some Tax software and did so successfully with little trouble. It was been a good morning filled with light breezes and hints of spring so why would I expect anything beyond the normal white trash visit to Walmart?
So I check out and am heading for the door with a little skip in my step and this lady, a 45-year-old soccer mom, comes plowing through with her cart. We come to a cross roads and I'm thinking, "She'll slow down, shes going too fast anyways," but no. She keeps on going just as fast and plows her cart right into my legs as I cross her path at a normal pace. "What the hell?!" I spout, nursing my injured legs. She moves her cart around me and keeps right on going.
So I take a moment to collect myself before I realize I won't stand for this entry-way injustice. So I march back into the heart of the store looking for her. I finally see her towards the back and cut through the bras to break out onto the aisle only inches in front of her. I grab her cart by the front and say, "I just wanted to let you know how incredibly rude of you it was to just hit me like that earlier." She looks up frightened and then sees its me and says, "Well you shouldn't have gotten in my way." By then I had moved to the side a bit and again she maneuvered her cart around me and began to take off. I was furious.
"People like you are the downfall of society...It's not my fault your husband doesnt love you anymore...I hope I see you getting scraped off the fucking asphalt on my way home!$#@!"
Before it even hit me that those words had left my mouth, a worker who had witnessed the whole thing tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to leave. "I already am," I muttered as I started out. He followed me all the way and by the time I reached the front entrance a security guard was waiting to make sure I found my way out properly. I hate to be so obscene, but c'mon! Who does that?!?
Obviously her candle had blown out long before :p
