Yesterday Was a Good Day... A VERY GOOD DAY

And by good I mean OMGWTF! In an entirely good way of course.

UPS *cough*assholes*cough finally sent me my artwork that I sent out back in early December last year. They claimed it was damaged and instead of just sending whenever was in there to me (it was in the next town over) they shipped it back to Las Vegas. Then I kept calling to find out what was damaged because no one would tell me what happened exactly. It's a bunch of that double-talk they give customers to get them to hang up. So finally I got in touch with the person in charge (because the guy I was talking to managed to hide the incident from his boss to deal with me on his own? Um wrong move) and she freaked out pretty much and apologized and actually went through the stuff to tell me what was in there and what was damaged (because the other dude refused to do it), repackaged it, and sent it out again. So it got here yesterday afternoon and I am once again reunited with my Sarah Jane and Ian & Barbara pieces. I would have killed myself had I found out they were torn to shreds or something, I worked really hard on them!
So yes they are back with me along with my tennis racket, cutting mat, and my toned illustration board. My Vellum paper is still missing though, but that's not as important as the artwork.

The other thing that made my day yesterday was the arrival of the book Shooty Dog Thing a Doctor Who fanzine that was collected into a book recently. The reason why I was so excited was because my name was in print along with my artwork, to be exact I had the only piece of artwork in the pages of the entire book! (plus some images from the covers I did in an ad in the back for the fanzine itself!)

Seeing my name in print...it's so surreal @_@

So yeah all that and the completion of several Blake's 7 chibis and my own character Claud. Things were going great yesterday, I hope this trend continues!
