Red, white, and rain
It rained this 4th of July like it does just about every other year. That's what happens when you live in the Armpit of the World. This year we even had a tornado watch and everything.
It had just started to rain when they decided to set the fireworks off early in hopes of getting them off before the weather turned bad. About 10 minutes later it started raining harder. Then harder. And finally, even harder. We tried to take shelter under a tree to watch the show, but ended up getting soaked anyway. That was the first time ever that I was hoping for the grand finale so the show would end.
