i should update this place more
i seem to keep neglecting a lot of places on the internet ^^;; this place, deviantart, twitter, my other lj's, pretty much everything but facebook ^^;;;;; sorry guys! i should catch up with everyone too but i keep failing to do that OTL i keep getting distracted too.
lately i've been addicted to rooster-teeth's video's on youtube, and youtube in general since xbox got their latest update. fails of the weak, gamefails, etc etc have been helping bitch-slap my depression the past month since i got a new xbox :3 i've been distracted a lot by my xbox lately, especially since i got some new games - halo combat evolved anniversary, halo 3, halo reach collectors edition (for £10 with all the extra's still included! a very good deal since it was second hand and the brand new copies sell for £60!) overlord 2, l.a. noire and deus ex human revolution, all for £70!, i think the only ones i bought brand new were halo combat evolved and deus ex, GAME had a new years sale on :3 i'd like saints row the third, it looks interesting (despite it being rather violent etc) i've also been playing skyrim and more of the orange box, and some xbox live arcade games; who wants to be a millionaire (i cheated and used google so i could get the achievements lol) ms splosion man (monica rial does her voice XD) Stacking (nice game where you play as russian dolls and have to figure out puzzles) and sealife safari - which was really relaxing, except for when you're trying to get 3 stars for every 'photos'. i guess it's like pokemon snap (i have that game, i just haven't got around to playing it yet lol) i maxed out all of the achievements for sealife safari too, and stacking (along with it's downloadable level) and i've gotten the last 2 achievements for comic jumper XD and a lot more for the orange box (half life episode 1's achievements got, just a few left for episode 2, once i have them all that's left for that is the last 3 for portal and all of team fortress 2) i've gotten addicted to l.a. noire at the moment too, my driving in it tho is terrible lol there's an achievement for racking up $47,000 damage in one case, i weren't going to go for it on my first real cases but my driving was that bad i decided to finish it and ended up doing well over $177,000 of damage! i think i over did it ^^;;; lol
enough of gaming tho, here's what's been going on in my life lately - depression sucks, i've been feeling like crap lately (thank god for rooster-teeth ♥ )
and mum ended up in hospital. basically on boxing day evening she got a bad stomach ache and weren't well and over the next few days she felt really bad and i managed to get her to go to the doctors. they diagnosed her with norovirus/winter vomiting bug and gave her medicine but it wasn't working, it made her feel worse so dad took her to the hospital and they were there for 6-7 hours! i was upstairs when i heard dad come home and didn't realise till i went downstairs that mum weren't with him. it was heartbreaking visiting her the first couple of times cause she looked so bad but she eventually got better. she's still ill but is out of hospital and have been for about 2 or so weeks, and they're still doing tests cause they don't know what's up, she has to go back in for something on monday so hopefully they'll figure out what's up then. wish her luck guys! she would've gone in sooner for a check up but the hospital was shut down for a while due to an outbreak of norovirus or whatever it's called now.
