Summary: Didn’t I tell you before you were gonna be a big star someday? Well here you are! I am so proud of you!

“Hey Vanessa.” Nikki greeted the 14 year old girl, who was sitting by the corner.
Vanessa looked up a bit startled. “Oh hi Nikki.” she greeted with those innocent brown eyes.
“What are you doing here? You’re not working today.”
“Oh am I not allowed to be here?” she suddenly became alarmed. “I can leave, my mom’s just cruising around the neighborhood, I can call her and -”
“No you can stay.” she immediately assured her, sitting down next to her. “I was just surprised to see you here.”
“Well I wanted to just look around while you guys were filming.” she explained. “I mean, it’s my first movie. Kind of a new surrounding.”
“That’s right, you are a newbie.”
“Yeah. I’m very fascinated with how everything goes. it’s a little bit different than making a TV show. But I’ve only ever been in like sitcoms, so nothing really much to compare.”
“It is. Although this is also different than a regular mega hit movie. This is very low budgeted, but in big movies, there are so much more work, and a lot of excitement going on.”
“There’s a lot of excitement going on here too! Its all so new to me, I’m kind of excited.”
Nikki couldn’t help but giggle at her excitement. “Are you going to pursue an acting career? Cause I can totally see a bright future in that department for you.”
“You think so?” she suddenly turned shy. “I’ve always loved to act. And my family are always telling me to pursue what you love. I wish I can be a fulfilled actress one day.”
“Don’t worry, I can tell you that will happen. Watch, you will star in a mega hit movie one day, and everyone will know you’re name. You’ll have fans lined up in front of your house just to catch a glimpse of you, and you will have movies after movies, blockbuster hits at that. You are going to become a star one day.”
“You’re too kind.” she blushed. “I can’t even see this whole acting thing going, let alone star in a movie.”
“Trust me. I always have an instinct with these.” she gave her a wink.

“I’m getting a bit hot right now.” the now 20 year old Vanessa said.
“Well then take off your cardigan.” Nikki laughed.
After a full day of shopping around Melrose Avenue, Vanessa, Nikki and Sage rested at Lala’s Argentinian Grill for some lunch. It was a rare occurrence that Nikki got to spend some time with the young starlet, whom she has known since way back before she had hit big with High School Musical. They had crossed paths before, but with their busy schedules, they just didn’t have enough time to actually stand still for a minute, let alone shop. But today had been one of those days where they were just free at the same time.
Vanessa laughed and did so, slipping the cardigan off and shoved it in one of her shopping bags. When she did, the two girls sitting across from her suddenly noticed a round, blue and slightly purple blotch on her upper arm.
“What is that?” Nikki suddenly asked, alarmed, gently grabbing a hold of her arm, inspecting it closer. “Is that a bruise? How did you get that?” then she gasped in shock. “Zac didn’t do this to you did he? Cause if he did, I am so going to kill him.”
“Nikki chill.” Vanessa laughed, pulling her arm away. “Zac didn’t hurt me.”
“Ok good.” Nikki breathed in relieved. “Well how did you get that then?”
“I was doing some training for Sucker Punch and I got hit. I have more bruises around my body too, they’re just covered.”
“Sucker Punch? Oh, that new Zack Snyder film, right. I heard about that.” she said. “Wow, that’s some hardcore stuff. Like, real action and everything.”
“I know, that’s why I’ve been training for the past couple of weeks.”
“You are gonna be kicking butt, like literally.” she giggled at the prospect. “How did you even get yourself into that?”
“I don’t know. But I’m so excited for it!” she exclaimed. “I haven’t done anything that didn’t involved singing and dancing in a while, and I really can’t wait. Specially with all the action stuff. I had such a good time when I did Thunderbirds, it was so much fun doing stunts and just getting to do an action scene. I want to do that again! You know, punch somebody.”
“I’m kind of scared of you right now.” Sage deadpanned, making everybody laugh. “I feel so sorry for Zac. Hopefully he wouldn’t do anything to hurt you or else he’ll get his ass kicked hard.”
Vanessa snorted. “Trust me, he knows better.”
“Well when are you gonna start filming the movie?” Nikki asked her excitedly.
“This fall. but I’m going to need a lot of training if I want to keep up with everybody. Specially when my Bandslam promotions fall at the same time, and I’m also gonna be filming another movie in the summer, before I film for Sucker Punch.”
“What movie?”
“Beastly.”
“What’s that about?”
“Like a modern Beauty and the Beast thing.”
“Wow, and I thought Nikki was busy.” Sage said.
“Yeah.” Nikki agreed. “You’re like booked for the entire year. Are you ever going to have a day off?”
“Hopefully.” she laughed.
“Look at you all busy filming movies and promoting. You are such a superstar now! I swear, I see your face everywhere!”
“That’s the power of Disney merchandise.” she joked.
“Seriously V.” Nikki said. “Didn’t I tell you before you were gonna be a big star someday? Well here you are! I am so proud of you!”
“Thanks Nikki.” she chuckled, giving the girl a hug.
