Post-Christmas Trauma Ward
I'm checking in for those three or four people I haven't talked to in a while...I'm doing fine, enjoying Saurkraut Day with the family. My sister and her husband are here, making for a very full house when you count thier yappy dog they dragged along.
It snowed here for Christmas Eve and most of Christmas morning. It had all melted by noon, but by then, you would've wanted to go to the movies or something fun. Anyway, it was the ninth time since 1950 that it snowed in Houston, and never before on Christmas.
Claire and Patrick think that I'd be much better off if I lived with them this semester. I think that Maryland could only introduce me to Claire and Patrick's party friends, and that'd be even worse.
By the way, do any of you have ties to the working world? I'm looking for a full-time job, maybe two part-times so that I can live off campus and pay rent. And food. And try to buy myself a bed, someday.
I guess that's all I've got for now...I try to do huge entries, but I get worn out...Anyway, have a good end of the year, and I'll hope to see/talk to you all after New years.
