This summer is turning out better than I thought.
I got my bonnaroo ticket in the mail yesterday, Skye and I's party is Monday, I decided I want a pet even if that is just a frog for now, and all the bonnaroo planning is getting me ready. I am not taking my summer classes, so this is bascially my last real summer. Next year is Purdue's summer practicum, and summers after are internships. I am hoping that I can work at the Hohenwald Elephant Sanctuary one summer, but baby steps.
On the bummer side of things I may not get to see Lollapalooza due to a friends wedding and Bulldog puppies are way more expensive than I imagined, like $1000-1500. I dont have that much for a bulldog pup. So if anyone knows a pregnant bulldog that will have the litter ready to go around August, then I am in.
There are several new movies that I am interested in like "Goya's Ghost" and I have been watching the history and science channels and a lot of programs about squid have been on recently. Fascinating and scary at the same time. It makes me love animals even more and keep my heart headed toward zoology. Well...that's about all I have for now.
Oh* this didnt happen to me but I tihnk it rocks anyway-my friend Sam hung out with Damien Rice when he was in Memphis. Sam went to the show and then Damien Rice's manager invited Sam and his friends to the after party. they drank with him and just hung out for about an hour. In the middle, he serenaded them with "Blower's Daughter" and "Hallelujah" the Rufus Wainwright version. I think that is pretty awesome so Yay for Sam
