(no subject)
So I'm watching this "anime" series, Cooking Master Boy, and I can't tell what the hell is up with it. It has a Japanese theme song, but the dialogue is all in Chinese, as is the story's setting. I really can't tell if it was a Japanese show imported/redubbed into Chinese, or if it's a Chinese show and I've gotten a version that is only partially dubbed over. Any way you slice it, though, this thing kicks crazy ass. It's like Mito Komon meets Iron Chef, with some Dragonball-type imagery and over-the-topness thrown in; there's even a slight, running Kenshin reference as of episode 16. God-damn am I loving it, and you should all check it out too. Oishinbo is pretty cool too, but there are only two episodes released, and ANBU doesn't seem to be in too much of a hurry to sub more.
