FIRST REVIEW OF OOTP MOVIE!!!!!
So, if you did not know, there has been a review for OotP posted on TLC. Found here There was an advanced screening in Chicago. So I, of course, asked the person who wrote it up about Remus. Here is my question, and his answer. There is some other info as well.
I have a question for you. I am a very big Remus Lupin fan, did he have much screen time at all?
Very little, I'm sorry. I was so hoping there'd be a little about him and Tonks, but alas, it was not to be.
According to other sources (i.e. IMDb message board) He is barely in it, and nothing new between him and Harry.He's the one who holds him back when Sirius has his..unpleasantness, or death, but other than that, little else.
Also, The marauder scene wasn't long. It pretty much showed Severus reading his book by a tree and James and everyone coming along and James flipping him upside down in the air. Nothing about Lily hating him. No DADA owls. NOTHING. The scene was probably less than a minute.
Remus still has the mustache too.
And Tonks stuff...
What was Nat like as Tonks? How much was she in it? Just a little bit? Was there any Tonks/Lupin interaction?
Nat was great and funny, although she didn't have much screen time. There was no discernable Tonks/Lupin interaction.
Edited for Janis, because I didn't include anything about Sirius (FOR SHAME!):
1. Was the particular person's death whom I shall not name dramatic and well acted?
2. Is there a trip to St. Mungo's?
3. Is there the spinning entrance room with floating candles in the DoM?
4. Did Sirius have more screen time than in PoA and GoF? THANKS SO MUCH!! :)
Yes and yes. No, I was hoping to see St. Mungo's as well. N/A. Yes, much more and quality time too.
