Wolf costumes and Canadian COKE

Saturday, I went to visit my dad for his birthday. It was a very pleasant day and since we probably won't see each other before Christmas, he gave me us (Tim and I) our presents (two prepaid card for grocery). We left there to go and meet with my Master and Sir Ryan for an evening of play, Sir Ryan noticed me of a very affordable wolf costume in sell almost next door. It was too late for us to go and look at it but I made sure to go there coming the morning (Yesterday). The games were fun and I went home a bit later than I would have liked.

No matter how late I go to bed, it seems like I just can't sleep in so coming 7H30 I was up and busying myself. As soon as 9AM came, I couldn't hold myself anymore so I woke up my mate for some shopping (wolf costume;) ). We arrived downtown right as the storm was starting.

The shop that we wanted to go to was closed for another two hours so I ended up browsing through the shelves of a few dollar shops and found many little things I needed for the kitchen.

Then we went to Archambault to by a DVD for my mom (she wanted me to buy the gift she will give my sister). I also bought a DVD of Mikhail Baryshnikov (http://www.amazon.ca/Baryshnikov-Sinatra-Mikhail-American-Theatre/dp/B000BB1MGO) because the dances in it are so wonderful.

After all that, we were just in time for the opening hour of the Moulin Rouge where I tried to wolf suit. Since there were two wolf suits available, my mate tried one too. I wonder what the seller thought as we were disgusting the possibilities to add holes in the front and in the lower back as my mate was on four. Anyway, we did something totally ill advised in our situation and put two wolf costumes and a bit of make up (for my Kildoo's suit) on his credit card (I think that the costumes will end up to about $125 US each).

Now I can't wait to do the Adjustments and the modifications to theses costumes so we can have some tribal fun with them.

On my way home, I stopped at Wal-Mart and at a beads store to buy my goddaughter's Christmas and Birthday gift.

Since I was starting to be hungry, I decided to spend my half of my father's gift before ending my shopping frenzy. And here is the reason for my post today; I bought many things I don't buy often anymore because of our financial situation (like good cheese, exotic desert, entrees) and one of the only American (and for me, the best by far) food product in my diet COKE. I bought six little glass bottle of COKE (here, it cost more to buy one of these small bottles than to buy a big one). I just don't get how the Americans can destroy such a perfect recipe with corn syrup.

I hope that someday I'll be able to buy that again when I visit that nice country. Until then, I'll have to illicitly carry my supply with me when I cross the border.
