I have been shopping around with my mate lately. We bought him some nice clothes that help showing how beautiful he really is. Now he looks even more stunning than before.
I also bought a new radio for my JEEP to replace the one my mom bought me for Christmas. I will not tell her that it’s not working anymore; it would just make her feel bad for no good reasons. I installed it and I am glad to have music again in my vehicle.
Sunday I came to work and help bringing onboard a very nice old man that was having mobility problems. I was very pissed that nobody here didn’t want to lay a hand to help me bring that gentleman up the stairs of the airplane (just to help me making his journey smoother). Finally the pilot of the plane (which is not an employee of our company) helped me.
I still stayed very courteous and charming at all time with the customer (though I calmly told all the linemen my opinion about their behaviors toward the costumers and also warn them not to ever ask me for a personal favor anymore) and I was rewarded with a $20 tips to put over my $110 of overtime and all that for being away from home for about an hour.
I used that tip (the only money still left in my pockets until my next pay) to go eat with my mate at the small restaurant near my den. There, we both ate a tasty smoked meat sandwich with a poutine. I also ordered a snail entrée that I shared with my mate (since he had told me earlier that he never tasted snails). It was so rewarding when I saw his eyes open wide and the huge smile drawing on his lips as he tasted his first bite.
He didn’t even pretend to refuse when I offered him to finish my plate. He completely emptied it (I was even a bit afraid that he would start to lick the plate clean). It was nice to be able to sit and chat with him while we were waiting for our meal.
One thing that I am a bit disappointed though is the lack of interest some of the furs in Montreal showed him. There are a few furs that know him and that met him on his prior visits here and they didn’t even gave him a welcome here where all of the people he met in the BDSM community (even if very briefly) were glad to welcome him as soon as they learned of him being here.
You see, he (and I too) have often received many invitations to visit furs from far away from our place and I know that many of the friends on my list south of the border would at least give me a welcome in their town if I would visit near there.
Well maybe everyone is just as overloaded as I am???
My agenda is still overloaded until Eastern but after that I will have a bit more breathing space since all my projects will be over, my computer will be running well enough and my mate will be settled.
Oh! Before I disappear for another week, I would like to tell some of my friends on LJ that we shouldn’t be in such a hurry to bitch about the changes made in LJ. When we don’t pay (or pay almost nothing) for such a service, we should try to discuss, communicate and even to try and understand where these changes came from before condemning the LJ direction on wild suppositions.
How would you feel if your guests would rant at you because you changed the flavor of the soup they were expecting while coming for a free meal at your expenses? How would you feel if they ranted at you from your decision not to serve alcohol anymore after years of providing them with a roast beef and open bar Christmas party for only $20 because you decided to drop the open bar (since everything gets more expensive with time and also that you can be sued if you let someone drive drunk from your party)?
All I ask is a bit more reflection before crying wolf. I am so tired hearing people crying wolf
On this, I wish all of you a pleasant week.
