o hisashiburi da ne, blog.

i’ve been wanting to get right back on the writing, whether it’s that nonsense i’ve been writing at home or something that is really worthwhile. but i can’t. i’m actually in the middle of the series kekkon dekinai otoko, i still have to watch some grey’s and heroes episodes.

side note : i think this season’s grey’s anatomy started out just fine, reached a bit of a climax with the whole ferry thing then everything just sucked from there. i can’t believe these are are the same people who created seasons 1 and 2. this season literally came up short. now, i haven’t watched but from what i gathered from various recaps, it doesn’t seem to do something for me. the burketina thing i totally get, and maybe even the asshole-derek-makes-a-comeback thing i also get, but what the f#@k were they smoking when they created the whole george-izzie-we’re-really-in-lurv thing? one big EWAN!

another side note: the writers of ‘heroes’, after making us wait with their weird breaks, continue to amaze me and put me on the edge each episode. sure there are dragging episodes but what the heck, the whole season is still majorly good. i can’t wait to watch ‘em. sylar is effectively creepy and hiro’s turning into a wuss that has to go to ancient sword camp with his father so he wouldn’t get cold feet the next time an opportunity to kill sylar arises. nathan’s still a power-hungry a-hole, linderman and dl and radioacTed all wound up dead. heehee.

another another side note: i’ll be getting the remaining 3 eps of ‘how i met your mother’ this week and i’ll guess i’ll have to watch it. i really like the whole ted-robin thing because they fit just right. and marshall and lily too. and yes, of course, barney who fits just right with himself. alyson hannigan and neil patrick harris are brilliant in this. eta: i just read that in the final episode, ted and robin break up. aaaw.

anyway, another thing that i’m missing aside from the writing is listening to storm games. the season’s already started yesterday and i was absent because *tadaaaa* we went to ’sea paradise’. on a sunday. tsk. we wandered around the whole day. i didn’t get the unlimited rides ticket because well, heights and i, we don’t really agree. enjoyed the dolphin-seal-whatever show though. ang cute eh. my other companions rode ‘blue fall’ - a 107-m high vertical fall ride, and one of the most malikot na roller-coasters i’ve seen.

another anyway, the storm won its first game of the season against the comets. hah. from what i read in the game recaps and the box score, it looked like the comets had the game in wraps when they were leading 22 points with 15 minutes to play. but then the storm kicked in a furious rally that started with lj’s 4-foot turnaround 5 minutes into the third. the storm closed the game on a 44-9 run. score was 82-69. izzy castro-marques, who was big in the 1st half, topped all scorers with 25 points. loz follows with her 23 and 10 rebounds. betty contributed well with 15 buckets on 50% FG shooting, 5 boards and 4 dimes. birdy was having trouble with her shooting (3-11) but contributed 11 points. jb is still to wake up from her trance. tanisha, i still hate tanisha no matter how much they say that her point guarding improved. heck i would choose zara over her.

argh, still 50 minutes to go before i run back to the station and renew my 20,000 Yen / month commuting pass. remind me to never complain about how fares always seem to go up sa pinas. imagine spending 1000 Yen a day for transpo alone. my body is still sore from the cleaning that jo and i got ourselves into last saturday, so the prospect of getting squished inside the train tonight is not that appealing (well, as if i have a choice).

wait, wait, now i don’t know where this entry is going since it jumps from one topic to another so i’m not sure how to end this din. i’m bored, bored, bored and i wanna go home na.

sports, tokyo stuff, seattle storm, wnba, daily blah-blahs, basketball, tv
