(no subject)
People don't really seem to be all that into LJ these days. I know I suck at it since I have yet to write an entry in 2007, but I am not the only one. I never have anything to read about on my friend's pages. Are we all giving up, or just too busy/lazy? It is a combination of the two with me.
I have deiced that 2007 is the year. I know that my job which was a major positive change in my life took place in 2006, but I am counting that towards my accomplishments of 07. I have a lot planned for this year. I rejoined WW and I have to say that I am actually happy. I hadnt gone sine August and I only gained 4 lbs of what I had lost. I am still down 23.2 which isn't half bad. This is the year of skinny! Well I guess not skinny cuz that will take a while, but it is definitly the year of being slimmer, happier and healthier. Now that i have a constant flow of money I would really like to join a gym. I also want to buy a bike. Not now since snow will be coming, but for the spring I think that will be fun. With the new bod, I hope to have a new beau, but that could be wishful thinking. I would at least like to have options of going on a few dates or something! I am now eligible for course reembersment at work, so I am thinking that this summer I would like to take a course or two to get this degree back underway.
I got a hair cut yesterday. Not too drastic, but you can definitly tell. I also got foils. I basically woke up and decided that I needed a change. It was a small change, but a change none the less.
And now a weekend recap. Friday night I had plans with Karen and Xtine to get some food and watch a movie. We ended up going to emperors choice in reading. I got really tired and didnt really feel right at dinner so I just ended up skipping the movie and going home. I watched a tiny bit of tv and went to bed at 930. I slept until 830 on saturday which was phenominal. I guess I just really needed to catch up on some sleep. I did a lot of errands on saturday and also got my nails and hair done. Saturday night I went to Dick's last resort for Jasmine's birthday. Can I just tell you how much I love my work friends!? It was really fun. After dinner we went to Hennesy's which I had never been to. Here's the deal with that place. It wasnt too crowded which was nice and it was 2 floors sort of like the harp. It had a band downstairs and a dj upstairs. Upstairs was cool but it wasnt my music. It was all hip hop and like jamin stuff and I just cant dance to that. When I am out drinking I want to dance. So I probably would not go back there again. Today I took off work (LB) just because. I really just wanted a full day off to be lazy and so I got one. It has been very nice and needed. Tonight is the premier of 24 which I cannot wait for! I am going to em and joe's for a viewing. Also AI is this week! I cannot wait for great tv to come back!
I have this feeling that it is going to be a very long week at work. With it being so cold we cant really go outside and that means I need to think of more things for them to do haha. I did soooooo man projects this past week I am at a loss for things to do!
