2 a.m. things in Ga :)
Ok, yeah, so like I'm in Ga right now. But all of you know that :) We (Pedro, Ally, me) are safe and happy and having a great time.
So, since I'm the only one out of the three not in dream land, I figured I'd update y'all :P
The train ride was honestly, though terribly tiring, very very fun. Ally and I combined got about 4 hours of sleep total, but we got to sit around and be girly and talk about lots of stuff that I'm not sharing here. She managed to lose a shoe (her story, not mine to tell). Then we watched about 20 episodes of Ouran - which btw is great. On the way home we'll probably finish it then move to Kyou Kara Maou (I know, no one cares).
Anyway, we arrived at Rocky's at around 12:30ish technically Saturday Morning. (Long story about how much Hertz sucks, crazy killer cab drivers and Pedro's notoriousness for being horrendous with directions at another time). We got Ally and Pedro settled in their hotel room and went to bed.
Saturday was a day of shopping and relaxation. We hiked through a national park, then Ally and I got chased by dragonflies and I fell down running up the stairs (I hurt my knees, and before the silly jokes from that, they hurt like hell). But over all it was quite nice - and we introduced Ally to Sonic. That night we watched the first 9 episodes of RahXephon - which is also really freaking awesome.
Today we went to Rocky's parent's for a big BBQ which I got to meet a decent amount of the extended family and then got proposed too right before Rocky's Bday cake (he turns 28 on Wed). Yeah, I mean like truly proposed too, like ring and all (some of you guys saw the pic I sent you, others I couldn't). So I sit here typing watching the gleam of my ring out of the corner of my left eye. It's kinda wonderful right now.
Tomorrow we leave for a 2 day trip into Savannah for sightseeing, great food and probably a little drinking (Hell I drank 2 appletini's today alone). The next couple of days should be pretty great. On wednesday Rocky and I have to go back to his hometown to have lunch with his grandfather - basically the most influencial man in his life. His mom told me not to worry and I'm not about meeting him. Well, maybe a little, but as Ally likes to say 'I want to make a good impression'. I'll try my best!
Due to a miscalculation on my part, when I thought we would be back on Saturday I was wrong. We will be back on Sunday at about 5:21pm. Dan, I'm going to look up the commuter times and I'll text you on the flip side ok?
Anyways, that's this trip update - I'm sure I'll make another before the week ends :)
Plus, how's everything going back there? Anything fun and exciting happen as we were gone?
