I'm not too happy with what LJ has done. Okay, so I have a paid account, but what would've happened to my journal had I not paid for it when I did?
I'm fine with the invite codes going away. I don't care. I just believe that people who are already members, free or not, should be allowed to keep posting. They were given NO warning! That is unfair.
Plus, as a foreigner, I know what it's like not being able to pay for things overseas. Alrighty, we have credit cards in every country, but who uses LJ the most? That's right. Teenagers or younger adults who may not be able to have a credit card or cannot afford it. You can't get money orders in other countries and teenagers wouldn't have checks either.
Yeah, I used my mom's credit card and paid her in cash, but not all people can do that! You don't want your parents knowing about your journal.
I'm sorry, but unless they make some useful changes, after my 2 months is up, I'm no longer paying.
