Fanime report. One long mother fucking entry. . picture heavy. . .and censored. . . .very censored.
Friday
I decided to go on friday. . because I begged my dad for a Press badge after I found out that it would cost me 55 fucking dollars to go for 2 days. I could have pre registered and gone the whole weekend for 40!!! So I ended up bullshitting my way through the press registration (Yup, i've already accepted the fact that I'm going to hell one day) And I went to fanime for free. OF COURSE, I spent like 2 hours searching for the Press lounge. It was insane. Someone told me the 26 floor of the Marriot! and it was the 1st floor of the convention center! I went with Kiriyama to In and Out. . where we concluded he was Bulimic. Hahaha.. Oh, and stayed in the Karaoke room (where we fucked up yume kaza guruma, sang Fuyu shita risou -desray. . .and laughed at "jiggly" for hours with Shin and Kiriyama. And to top it all off I was stalked by anime otakus. Lovely. . .

I got there at nine and saw a few people I knew. Hung out with Mai . . for first time in months!!! T^T I'm so glad I got the chance to hang out with her. We wandered around the convention center with Shin and H. . missing various meet ups (coughs) We met several people we new and I met seekmagic (will) for the first time. Ensuite, we (Shin, H and I) waited in line for the Kamijo Karaoke event. Hahaha, I asked if my press badge would um, elimate the waiting. . it didn't. . .BUT the staffer dude told us that " just group together in the wall with your friends, I won't say anything" That was awesome. Nick, D and Nikita joined us later., . .and we partied (in line) next to the "pantry room" . Kamijo's Karaoke thing. . .FUNNY. I probably would not have been so um, assholey if he came with the rest of Lareine and did a performance. . .hell, i would have respected him more if he had a bunch of random people play Lareine songs. Nonetheless, I had fun. . because I like to make the most of things. I agree with H. I respect Kamijo as an artist. . what I've heard from Lareine is not quite my preferred style of music, but you can tell that he has talent. Just the fact that he's coming here by himself . . .WITH JPOPHOUSE *underlines* stupid exploitive events and all. . . kind of generates my poor attitude about the ordeal.

2. "Bonjour Honey!" Was a blast. That has to be the only thing that I've heard about Kamijo before. and man do I love it. It's fun to say! "Bonjour honey" in like a squeaky voice.
Next was the photograph line. Hell if I paid 5 bucks for a fucking picture, I was going to get my money's worth. When it was my turn, I kind of made a motion for him to hold my leash for the picture, the surrounding people made that "oooOOOO" sort of sound. Kamijo kind of looked at it for a while. . .and then stuck it in his mouth. As I'm posing for the camera. . all of a sudden I hear "OOOOO" I turn around an realize that he's biting the end of my leash! O_O. I thought about making a scene by sticking it in my own mouth in front of the Kamijo fangirls (which um. . amused me to no end with their "Kamijo is God" attitude). . .and then I stopped and thought . EWW, . . .HIS SPIT IS ON THERE. (see, I really don't care who you are. . but if it's not my own saliva. . I don't want it) Heh, I also had people asking me if they could by it. . .I regret not taking their offers.
After Shin and I went to the Cure Snap Shot event. . . oh man, these 12 year olds in front of us. . ."OMG WE'RE GETTING INTO A FAMOUS MAGAZINE. . OMG OMGOMG" *bangs head* I know. . that was me once. . *hangs self* We met up with H after that and decided to go to music fest. . where we saw Asami and Aki. After deciding that. . WE NEED SOMETHING TO DRINK. I saw Vachu and Kumo and the uh. . .7 of us. . plus D and Mike walked around downtown for HOURS (well it felt like it) trying to find a place to eat.
Then karaoke. . we saw lots of people we knew. . .made fun of LOTS of people (oh come on, karaoke at an anime convention??? that just ASKS to be mocked) . . .and yeah. . it was pretty entertaining. The bad part was the line was so long that Val didn't get to go up until like 1:25. . .when I had to leave. T^T

Sunday was awesome. Well I first had to go to clean up Playa Del Ray park. . I probably would have ditched if I wasn't in charge of the event. Lol, but that was pretty fun. I met Shin, Mai and H in the Marriot watching some Korean movie. I left my stuff in Shin's room and went to get it with him. Then we went to the Kamijo autograph were I saw shou and had her friend's CD signed. Umm, after I think we waited inline with D for the Masquerade and met Kumo, Val, Aki and Asami there. At first, the event seemed pretty cool. . the opening act was awesome. Then it was . . ."uhhh shit, let's leave at 8." So we ended up wandering around. . clueless about what to do. We resorted to talking in this section on the second floor of the Mariott. It was the first time in like a year that we've known eachother that we've bonded. . through shit talking about bands, people and other stuff. I think our group was getting pretty loud about it and we decided to go eat at Denny's (at like 11pm). (So um, we weren't over heard by that person who knows that person. . .) So while we're eating. . .guess who strolls in. Harry Lo. . .*glares* and the rest of the Jpophouse staff. . .then all of a sudden Kamijo walks in with his staff. And he stares at us. We were like WTF? Why are they here at 11pm at night? Are they that cheap to take Kamijo to Denny's?? Or does that symbolize the epitome of greasy American food? Of course now that Kamijo (code name, white chocolate) is here. . .we start mocking his performance. . .through impulse I think. (but to make this decently readable for other people. . I'm going to omitt this part. . .but that post will be under a friend's lock) We went back to the hotel . . and I had to leave. Lol. . and so ends Fanime 06 for me.
