2014 September duet: Abe Aran (kinkyori renai ~season zero~)
i'm going through a drdr period with aran recently (probably because of his acting in kinkyori renai) so here's an interview from a month or two ago about his role in the drama B)
[abe aran's interview]
Question: You're playing the high school boy of Yamapi's role in his upcoming movie, are you conscious of that when you're acting?
Answer: I'm really conscious of it! I've been watching clips from the movie and reciting my lines as well as practising the tone of my voice and how I walk. I want to give off the exact same atmosphere... but that's a bit hard. Even when I got chosen for the role, I got told by Fuma-kun that I wasn't anything like Yamashit-kun haha
Question: Haruka is a "cool" character? Have you been able to grasp that?
Answer: Yes. I don't talk often and I keep in mind to have a 'lost' feel about me. I tried really hard to stop "Abe Aran" from showing. Even if there's a scene where everyone's having fun at the beach, I tried really hard to play cool. In reality, I actually wanted to get hyped up with everyone and talk a lot.
Question: Have you been discussing your acting within the drama with the Juniors you're appearing with?
Answer: Yes I have. Especially with Kishi, who's playing Haruka's best friend. We've going to eat together and discussing how we should change things to make it better. Kishi looks like he doesn't think much about anything, but when it comes to acting, his game is strong! It's that Kishi!
Question: Have you gotten advice from your Senpais?
Answer: Well, Shigeoka-kun, who I got to act with in Shark, told me to think for myself [note: it doesn't sound so harsh in Japanese, there's a more playful tone to it] , so I've been thinking for myself. Although, he teach me that I wasn't supposed to be playing around when we were filming a tense scene in Shark. [note: this sounds sarcastic in english, but it isn't so sarcastic in japanese ; -; sorry my translating game weak] This time round, there isn't a senpai to tell me things like that. I might ask some senpais when I see them next time.
Question: Are you confident in saying your charming lines that are supposed to make girls go kyun kyun?
Answer: I would never say things like that in real life, it's really embarassing and makes me blush. But when we're filming the scene I say the words without feeling so embarassed. The most embarassing part was when Haruka was talking to Miyuki on the phone. The part when I say "You're the only girl who's ever been into my house." Like are there actually boys who do this??? If there was, girls would be all over him! haha The hurdle's high, but I'll try my best to make both boys and girls go kyun kyun.
NOTE
senpai refers to anyone in that particulary area who has experienced more of that particular area than you. (e.g. Shigeoka-kun is Aran's senpai, because he's been in the agecny for longer than Aran.)
kyun-kyun refers to the sound the heart makes when someone does something charming. In my opinion, it's different from doki doki in that doki doki usually happens to the person something is being done to (like you been kissed by Aran I MEAN WHAT WHO TYPED THAT) where as kyun-kyun is usually third person.

UM OK FIRST OF ALL FUMA ARAN PROVED YOU DAMN WRONG. I love his acting, it really reminds me of Yamapi, and the 'cool' auro that Yamapi gives off, comes straight off Aran too. It makes me smile just thinking about it haha. Also, Aran seems like such a nice Junior. I wonder why I've never payed much attention to him. Fuma's still my bias but Aran's been added onto my very long list of Juniors that I love... ISN'T ARAN LIKE ONLY A YEAR OLDER THAN ME TOO. Johnny's you're breaking me ; -; someone help me ; -; acutally don't help me, I like drowning in my love for Johnny's haha xD Also, can I saw, Kishi is such a good actor too. In some of the scenes you can tell he's not completely sure of what he's doing but I reckon it just makes his characterization a whole lot better. I can't wait for the last(?) episode of Kinkyori tonight. If... I forgot the name of Kishi's role oops... anyway if [Kishi] dies tonight I'm going to cry. He better not die. He better not.
question: Are there any communities I should join? (preferably ones relating to Sexy Zone or Johnny's Junior)
