Chinese
This is really obscure...but I like a lot of things pertaining to the chinese culture. Whether it's music, clothing, food, language...I like it. It makes sense because thats how I grew up.
Fangirling
Haha! I just added this the other day! I tend to obsess/ramble on about something, it doesn't matter what. Then if it's a show or people, I tend to *kya* over them, meaning I blush and babble on and on. ^^; It's really fun to fangirl really, I like acting silly. When fangirling, I usually go "Aaa so cute!!!♥" But there are some people who don't like it, or really hate it. So I try to tone it down around them.
Gohou Drug
I added this on the other day too. This is one of CLAMP's newer series and I just started reading this. My first impression of the series was "Wow that blond guy has pretty hair. He must be the uke" XD I knew this was shonen ai from random reviews online. So I started reading volume one out of boredom. Bordom pays off. =P It's a mystery story, like Nancy Drew (Which I used to read too) but with a Clamp twist. The artwork gets much better in the third (and final, for now, volume) very pretty.
Joe Hisaishi
I love this man. He's the composer for Hayato Miyazaki's films (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Tonari no Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service) and all of their OST's are just gorgeous! His themes are usually very reassuring and soft. Like Yoko Kanno, he uses a variety of instruments, but unlike her, he mostly works with full orchestras. My favorite OST from him is a tie between Kiki's Delivery Service and Tonari no Totoro. I think Totoro wins because I love the song "Kaze no Toori Michi" played on the piano. If anyone wants to listen to it, I can upload it later.
Manga
Ah...this is broad. But I love it anyways. My first manga series started with Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, found by accident really.... then CLAMP fever, Yuu Watase...and that's history. I really pick up any manga to read. If I like it, I read the rest, if I don't I usually finish whatever volume I get, I read out of order ^^;,
Nobutoshi Canna
I remember when I first heard him in Fushigi Yuugi. I liked his voice. Then, I heard his song "Tasogare no Windy Road" Whoa. That offically made me LOVE his voice. So smooth. Anyways, he officially became the first male seiyuu that I loved. Before I used to only listen to female seiyuus (the sailor moon group) that changed me outlook. ^^
S.E.S
Another Fushigi Yuugi inspired singers. =D One of their songs was used as a music video or something. I loved that song (Dreams Come True, which was also covered by a "Trish" in English) because it was sugary and cute. Then I heard their song "Sarang Hae" and that changed me. It was cute, yes, but it had a attitude. They also got me interested in K-Pop (Korean Music) *sigh* thus, even though they split up, S.E.S. is my personal favorite girl group. =P
Takahashi Naozumi
I started listening to him by mistake really...his song "A to Z" was mistaken by me for a Sotsugyou M song. But no problem really, "A to Z" is a really cool song very fun. Then one day while in Net Tech, I was listening to a Tenipuri song called "Windy Road" I was curious on who the singers were. I really liked the song and the singers (especially the guy with the higher voice) then after looking at animelyrics, I found that Takahashi Naozumi was the guy with the higher voice! I was like "Whoa!" I know him! =D So after listening to his other songs (Harutoki stuff, and his non-anime stuff) I fell in luvv with Nao-kun. He's soooo cute....
Yami no Matsuei
I have sweethikari and placetohide to thank for this one. ^^ I think one day during lunch or something, sweethikari-chan was reading one of the mangas. It had pretty artwork on the front, so I asked if I could borrow it after her. She said that it was placetohide's book. So I asked her if I can borrow them, and bam. After the first volume I hooked on this awesome series. The artwork, story, and characters are so awesomely awesome. I think the best word for this series is "Sexy" even with the crazy scenes. My fav. character is Hisoka, such the uke. XD Also, he has the same b-day as I do! (Oct. 18) Except he was "born" 8 years before I do, but still. Wai~♥
