This is possibly one of my favorite music videos ever. I'm usually super picky but this is so good! XD

There is just something very fresh and hopeful about the pv. I remember poking fun at their name and promo shots when I first heard news about them (SHINee? What the eff is with the selective capslock. How do I pronounce their name? Shin-ee? Shiny

I've always had respect for SHINee but honestly I am shallow as well. I love their performing abilities and how hard they work but it wasn't until the other obstacles were out of the way (TVXQ ;____;) before I could fully appreciate them without a biased eye. SHINee, I feel is still quite awkward on variety shows (well maybe not Minho but definitely Jonghyun and sometimes Key) and they aren't naturals like Super Junior but they can be endearingly cute if there aren't others to take camera time away. Like Star King, everybody fights for some screen time, whereas in Hello Baby, it was just the boys abusing each other for the world to see.
I already figured who was who before (ok so I had troubles with Onew and Taemin... >>;) but I learned that Minho does speak, Taemin is a bit of a brat, Jonghyun is kind of stupid and Key is pretty damn fabulous. Hello Baby was an excellent PR move, they were much more comfortable around cameras than their Yunanham show.
PS I added you, add me back? :3

Yeah...I actually haven't watched the Yunanham show just cause I feel like the secondhand-embarrasment factor might be too high, lol. But yeah, Hello Baby was freaking fantastic. SHINee + house + baby = RECIPE FOR PERFECTION. Plus, awkward!Onew and surprisinglyamazingwithchildren!Minho. Aaaaaah. ♥
I wanna watch more of them on Star King, actually -- it's hard to find on youtube. Maybe I'll look around more....
P.S. I just rewatched the Replay MV you linked to. Obviously I don't have the years of experience watching MVs to compare it too, but speaking as a total n00b -- god damn it is just so good and beautiful. ♥ I love what you said about it having a fresh and hopeful feeling to it -- I never would have thought to say it that way myself but I totally agree. It just feels so good to watch.
It's still by far my favorite SHINee song. Though this is funny -- having downloaded basically all of their music at once (with the exception of Replay, RDD, and Jo Jo), I actually liked the songs on their last two mini-albums more than most songs on their first album. A lot of songs on the first album kind of blended together for me -- the last two produced more instances of me looking up from my homework and being like, "Ooh, what's this one called?" With the notable exception of Get Down from Y.O.U. Graaaah that sooooong WHY SHINEE, WHY
Then again, that's an opinion based on only two full playthroughs of everything, so definitely take it with a grain of salt. I have no idea which songs will end up growing on me after a couple more playthroughs.
