Needs Moar Yoo Young Jin!
No longer as stressed out, most of my midterms/exams are done and over with :D I have an interview on Friday and project due on the 18th but that's workable with. Anyhoo, I'm at Yunnie's youtube surfing and I found this:
The song was written by Yoo Young Jin who used to be a solo artist and now is a song writer for SM. He has serious skills in writing catchy title songs (Sorry Sorry, Rising Sun, Ring Ding Dong, One More Time OK, Purple Line) but his RnB stuff totally slays me, they are so good. Sorry Sorry Answer blew the original out of the water in terms of awesome. One More Try is pretty underrated :( The man needs to write more rnb stuff STAT! Pleaseeee
I love the song but I can't really stomach what the song is about. Especially since this is a bloody praise song. I hate praise songs, because idk. Even if the singers have nothing to do with it, it seems a bit obnoxious and arrogant. Even if they are all taht and a bag of chips (heh I haven't used that phrase since early 2000's roflol) There is no modesty now. I ended up focusing not on the pseudo-creepy video (the man is singing about 9 girls who are about 20+ years younger than he is .______.) but on the dudes wiping the floor.
I am trying to be partial to SNSD but it's kind of hard because their image always is about being "Girls are perfect when they are pretty and cute!" and I can't help but feel a bit :| Because there is more to being a girl than twirling around in dresses, heels and being pretty with make-up.
There is nothing like SNSD to bring out my almost non-existent feminist lol wtf @ self
Edit: I think it's pretty sad that how every time I hear Beyonce's Sweet Dreams I think of this. Keeeyyy ♥ I like how he was all "Yeah, I was planning on dosing off because if it's not Taemin getting airtime it's Minho (the two that were grayed out). I don't get featured much" I wish he gets more airtime, he's hilariously blunt and such a snarky diva on shows roflol. Key also gets brownie points for being a Gaga fan :D < /creepy fangirling>
